- W4253193104 abstract "The energy-entropy concept considers the organization as an open system with energy circulation due to informational-material-energy exchange with the external environment. The energy-entropy is a characteristic function of the state of the organization, reflecting the effectiveness of its business processes and interaction with the external environment. In this study, the entropy of the organization is formalized and the main provisions of the energy-entropic theory of organizations are described. Since the management of organizations is a field of knowledge where it is impossible to establish numerical parameters or functional laws by analogy with experimental science, the formalization of energy entropy was carried out analytically: the expression for energy entropy was obtained based on of the energy balance of the organization with a consistent justification of both its ideological and mathematical components. The essence and calculation formulas are defined for: total energy, free energy, work, energy gain, heat, temperature and, in fact, entropy. Such a result was obtained for the first time, and in comparison, with existing studies, it provides a mathematical apparatus for determining and analyzing energy entropy. During the study, the expression for the temperature of the organization was formalized using informational entropy as a measure of streamlining the organization's structure and the organization's control over part of the external environment. Thus, in the framework of the proposed method, information entropy determines energy entropy. The resulting expression for energy entropy corresponds to the ideas of entropy in statistical physics. In this case, the formalization of entropy was obtained not by the mechanical transfer of the main categories of thermodynamics, but by substantiating their essence taking into account the specifics of organizations as a special class of systems." @default.
