This methodology was validated in three independent fatigue programs. An S-N base curve was generated from cylindrical dumbbell specimens from 30 fatigue cases covering different R ratios in both negative and positive values. The curve was then applied to ring specimens with 90 fatigue cases and a Metacone suspension component mount. The results have shown that different S-N curves could be correlated with the shear modulus based on the effective tensile strain." @default.
