- W4280527404 abstract "Research has been done to see if the industrial by-product can be used in the building sector. Normally foundries recycle and re-use of foundry waste by several times and the final residue/waste is known as Waste Green Sand. To acquire varied characteristics of concrete, Green Sand can be moderately replaced with cement, as a slight replacement of Fine Aggregate or as a whole replacement of Fine Aggregate. Various experiments on the characteristics of hardened concrete incorporating Ferrous Green Sand as a Fine Aggregate substitute and also CNF were carried out in this study by adding in a suitable proportion with respect to the volume of concrete and also for increasing the tensile strength of concrete. In this study, the potential re-use of waste Green Sand along with CNFs in high-strength concrete was investigated. On M50 grade concrete, with percentages of Fine Aggregate substitution of Waste Green Sand were tested at five various proportions: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50% and to identify the optimal percentage of Green Sand for which the concrete displays greater strength. CNFs of 0.6 %, 0.8 %, and 1 % were mixed with that optimal Green Sand percentage to find out the mechanical and durability parameters of concrete under various healing times." @default.
