- W4280619582 abstract "The present study investigates the humidity sensitivity of KxMg1-xFe2O4 (x = 0.00, x = 0.05, x = 0.10, and x = 0.15) samples prepared by sol–gel reaction of inorganic precursors. The ferrite samples were calcinated at 800 °C for 3 h. Specimens prepared by this technique exhibits spinel structure by X-ray diffraction studies. Composition, crystallite size, surface area, and porosity all have a role in the material’s humidity sensitivity, according to our findings. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) shows the distribution of nano-sized grains. The grain size grew from 32.1 nm to 71.6 nm with the substitution of potassium ions, as determined by atomic force microscope spectroscopy. From X-ray Diffraction analysis it is observed that particle size increases when K doping is introduced. The sensitivity measured through Photoluminescence technique is found to be prominence which increases with the increase in concentration of K. It is instigating that PL Sensing method is fast and sensor can be recovered rapidly." @default.
