Also, it envelopes all the opportunities and obstacles in Cs 2 AgBiBr 6- based lead-free double perovskites for numerous applications. Underlying structural behaviour of the Cs 2 AgBiBr 6 , fabrication, charge carrier dynamics, approaches to strengthen the performance and stability enhancement like bandgap engineering, functional doping, etc . This review extensively addresses all the factors such as indirect bandgap, defect engineering, non-radiative recombination, and electron-phonon coupling that drastically drops its performance and reveal the proper approaches that should be preferred.
