A laser beam was collimated by a fiber-coupled Grin collimator (FGC) which was assembled to a QEPAS system. The experimental results showed that the maximum signal amplitude occurs at different distances from the FGCs to the QTF. The relationship between the position of the beam waist and the signal amplitude was analyzed. The influence of the beam waist position in the in-plane QEPAS and the on-beam QEPAS is discussed in detail." @default.
