It is undeniable that human social activities cannot be separated from internet technology, as well as communication tools that are now increasingly sophisticated. Whether among children, teenagers, adults, or parents, they are all inseparable from communication tools and social media. No wonder nowadays social media is very influential in one's life. Especially among teenagers today, that social media is one of the most important things in their lives. For the community, especially teenagers, social media has become an addiction that makes its users no day without opening social media. Because by their nature, adolescence is the most beautiful period, so they are looking for their identity. So from social media, they can be negatively affected and sometimes they forget their obligations. Whether it's the obligation to help parents, study, or recite the Koran. For example, in this month of Ramadan, many teenagers spend their time playing social media or playing online games. This article raises the problem in the community, namely The Influence of Social Media on Interest in Reading the Qur'an in the Month of Ramadan Among Adolescents because it aims to determine the impact of social media on the lack of interest in reading the Koran in the month of Ramadan.
