- W4284689811 abstract "The treatment of industrial wastewater has become a worldwide concern. Among them, heavy metal pollution is a serious threat to the ecological environment and human health. In this context, it is an inevitable trend to develop the corresponding governance system and technology. In this study, a magnetic hydrogel with adsorbable properties was prepared by physical cross-linking with soybean residue cellulose. It is adsorbed by chelating the -NH2 groups with Cu2+. The results show that the increased of cellulose content benefits the mechanical strength and swelling property of the hydrogel. Through the study of adsorption isotherm, it was found that adsorption of Cu2 + by the magnetic hydrogel conforms to Freundlich model and belongs to multilayer mixed adsorption. This study provides a feasible method to prepare a new absorbent of magnetic hydrogels using natural and sustainable materials." @default.
