The main physical characteristics of materials suitable for mono and multispectral fairings and qualitative assessment of parameters on a five-point scale (excluding specific gravity) are presented at the level of advantages and disadvantages. The analysis of variants of the optimal on the criterion of efficiency / cost of constructive execution of components of the equipment of space-time processing of geoinformation is executed.
