- W4285157810 abstract "Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a rare clinic-radiological syndrome associated with acute changes in blood pressure during pregnancy. It is characterized symptomatically by headache, seizures, altered mental status, and visual blurring. Radiological changes are white matter vasogenic edema affecting the occipital and parietal lobes of the brain. It is being increasingly recognized due to increased institutional deliveries and advances in imaging particularly magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Despite the increasing detection, the prediction of PRES and patient factors affecting susceptibility is still not clear. Hence, we conducted a retrospective study to analyze the factors associated with PRES at our tertiary care center." @default.
