Although new drugs are coming up in modern-day cancer treatment, the recovery rate is still not satisfactory, owing to inadequate uptake, poor bioabsorbility, lack of targeting and low bioavailability. Due to the recent success in nanotechnlogy and the emergence of nanomedicine, these delivery systems are established as the most promising, efficient and feasible approach for cancer therapy. This approach mainly involves advanced technological processes to fabricate materials at the nanoscale level for precise delivery of medicines at the site of action, in a rate-controlled manner. So, nanotechnology-based approaches conceptualize optimized therpautic potentials of many such processed systems and their encapsulated loads such as biological agents, chemotherapeutic agents, and prodrugs, in the treatment of many diseases. This chapter primely discusses different approaches for rationalizing nanodrug processed delivery systems, their potential efficacy, and emerging applications in cancer targeted treatments. Attempts have been made to discuss its novel approach in other releated clinical conditions like diabetes. neurological disorder and cardiovascular complexities to have a clear backdrop of this emerging technology. Successively, specific focuses are made towards current strategies and future perspectives of such idea and its delivery systems to have a direct implications of these carriers from bench to bedside." @default.
