- W4285274914 abstract "This paper presents the numerical simulation of the electrostatic precipitator (ESP). In this study, a detailed analysis of the ESP is completed based upon different parameters. The main objective of this simulation was to calculate the effects of various parameters on the performance of the ESP, i.e., collection efficiency, total number of accumulated charged particles etc. Results show that applied voltage at the electrodes has a significant influence on the collector's performance and at 25 kV collection efficiency reached 100%, for 5 µm and the total number of accumulated charged particles were 1.5×104. Furthermore, results show that the larger the size of particle larger the collection efficiency, and the larger will be the accumulated particles." @default.
