Researchers already highlighted that improved thermo-physical and optical properties lead to the increase in the heat transfer and mass transfer rates of the nanofluids. This chapter also discusses the parameters affecting those properties. The optical properties of the nanofluids are important in the solar collector application of the nanofluids. The concentration of nanoparticles, the size and form of all the nanoparticles in the mixture, the temperature of the nanofluids and other factors all influence these characteristics. Temperature and nanoparticle concentration is the most critical of these variables. There are several models in the literature for determining these qualities, but none of them are accurate for the whole range of parameters. For a better understanding of the issue, all of these models are collated and contrasted in this chapter. The process and cause for the increased mass transfer and heat transfer owing to nanofluids are discussed in depth. According to published research, the thermal and mass transfer performance of nanofluids improves as temperature and nanoparticle concentration rise." @default.
