- W4285904145 abstract "In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic responses of sandwich-FGM doubly curved shallow (SFDCS) shells subjected to underwater explosions are presented. The SFDCS shells resting on the elastic foundation, and two different types of configuration are considered. Based on the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT), the governing equations are derived. Galerkin method and fourth-order Runge-Kutta method are applied to analyze the nonlinear dynamic response of the sandwich FGM shell with the simply supported boundary condition at four edges. The numerical results show the effects of geometrical and material parameters, explosive weight, stand-off distance, pre-loaded static biaxial and axial compressions, linear damping coefficient, Winkler/Pasternak foundations on the nonlinear dynamic responses of considered sandwich shells." @default.
