- W4286355345 abstract "The toughness test for fractures was carried out on short banana HPDE composites in this study. The fundamental goal of this research is to illustrate the potential of natural fibre by using biodegradable banana Peduncle fibres in environmentally friendly polymer composites. Composites were made from the short fibres of the banana plant's peduncle. The composite samples were made with alkaline and untreated banana fibre. The laminates were prepared using the vacuum moulding procedure. By using varied fibre weight percentages, composites were generated at 160 cm under 50 kN of load at 0 to 20 percent of their entire fiber weight (wt. percent This study looked at a variety of composite properties, Bulk density, water absorption, tensile and flexural qualities, impact strength, and hardness test characteristics are all factors to consider. The mass density of all composites is improved by increasing the fibre content. With a 5% content, mechanical qualities like tensile strength (TS), flexural strength (FS), impact strength (IS), and hardness were found to be marginally better. Simultaneously, the amount of fibre introduced rises, causing all mechanical qualities to change. The irregular form of the change may be caused by an overburden of polymer matrix fibre. The matrix adherence and inner surface of the broken surfaces are studied using an Electron scanning microscope (ESM)." @default.
