Herein, we designed and prepared a Zr-based metal–organic framework (MOF-808) supported Pd catalyst (Pd/MOF-808), which can efficiently catalyze the hydrogenolysis of HMF to DMF with a yield of 99% under 100 °C without any additives. In addition, the Pd/MOF-808 catalyst also showed good reusability, with the capability of being used five times without loss of activity." @default.
