- W4288045223 abstract "The thermoelectric transport in a Weyl semimetal Josephson junction has not been investigated so far. Herein, we study theoretically the influence of the chiral chemical potential induced by chiral anomaly on the thermal conductance in a Weyl semimetal Josephson junction. We consider the BCS-like pairing for which two paired electrons are from two different Weyl points and the Cooper pairs have zero net momentum. It is found that the thermal conductance can be modulated by the superconducting phase difference between the two superconductors and oscillates with λ 0 L , where λ 0 is the chiral chemical potential and L is the length of the central Weyl semimetal region. The thermal conductance is also controlled by the angle α between the line connecting two paired Weyl points and the transport direction along the junction. These features are useful in detecting the chiral anomaly and distinguishing the superconducting pairing mechanism of Weyl semimetals. • Phase-dependent thermal transport in a Weyl semimetal Josephson junction is studied. • Thermal conductance can be modulated by the chiral chemical potential. • Thermal conductance is controlled by the Weyl-point connecting direction α ." @default.
