- W4288059080 abstract "Chemical, biological, and clinical research studies are fundamentally affected by chirality because the natural world presents chirality properties for many bioactive substances. Consequently, novel efficient approaches based on nanomaterials are effectively needed to clarify chiral detection of substances that are always of importance in chemo- and biological and pharmaceutical studies. Recently, scientists have presented novel techniques with nanomaterial application, which have many advantages, and chiral recognition has been attended by them. In this chapter, we have highlighted various approaches regarding synthesis pathways of chiral conductive polymers including chiral substituents, chiral doping, and chiral templates. Chiral separation based on chiral stationary phases for high-performance liquid chromatography, gas liquid chromatography, and thin liquid chromatography, chiral polymers, and helical synthetic polymer phases are meantime comprehensively discussed. Moreover, a general overview of chiral sensors in light of different transduction principles such as optical and electrochemical measurements based on different recognition elements is provided to determine and discriminate between the chiral molecules. Finally, the capabilities with which how these chiral materials help construct simple but well-organized chiral sensors through the challenges and future perspectives are clearly explained." @default.
