- W4288368172 abstract "The poor cycling stability and unsatisfied rate performance with sluggish kinetics are major obstacles for the metal sulfides as the ideal anode materials for Li-ion storage. Constructing nano-heterostructure is an effective way to build a field in the heterointerfaces as the charge transfer driving force for the high performance of energy storage materials. Herein, a special Fe1-xS/SnS@C compound with a complementary hybrid structure was designed. In this special carbon-coated heterostructure, Fe1-xS and SnS are situated at either side of a nano cube with the irregular interface rather than uniformly dispersed in the whole composite. This Fe1-xS/SnS@C heterostructure exhibits appreciable cycling performance and high rate capability. Moreover, the combination of zero band-gap Fe1-xS with SnS can effectively enhance the electronic conductivity and storage property of the active material, and the stable structure with the high ion transport ability could be beneficial from the strong field in the heterointerfaces and the contribution of the outside S-doped carbon shell. Furthermore, the electrochemistry performance and reaction kinetics of Fe1-xS/SnS@C and pure SnS were investigated for further understanding of the superiority of the heterostructure. Simultaneously this method might provide inspiration for the design of heterointerface for high-performance energy storage batteries." @default.
