- W4293491685 abstract "This chapter will discuss nanomaterials and their uses in CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR). The activity of carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) incurs a heavy energy and cost burden. CO2 EOR potentially offers a route to help off-set this burden and transition to neutral cost and energy CCUS outlook through generation of an energy resource while sequestering CO2. The mobility of CO2 at reservoir temperatures and pressures can affect how much hydrocarbon is produced. This mobility limitation effects the ability of CO2 to be sequestered across an entire reservoir volume. Herein, we will discuss how nanomaterials effect the mobility of CO2, help oil production, and maximize CO2 sequestration." @default.
