- W4294384640 abstract "Vacuum polarization described in quantum electrodynamics inspires the relationship between a vacuum and a particle to be reconstructed. It is reasonable to amalgamate vacuum and matter into one thing, metric space. Thus, the motion of matter can be described as the propagation of the state of space in a vacuum, the vacuum being the medium of the matter wave. The consequence of unifying a particle and a vacuum with metric space is that all the properties of the particle should be described as the intrinsic properties of the space. Considering the equivalence of a gravitational field with curved space-time established by Einstein’s gravitational theory, it is natural to extend the equivalence to the source of the gravitational field, matter itself, when energy-momentum conservation is considered in an isolated gravitational interaction system. The formula of the energy and momentum density of matter expressed in terms of the curvature tensor of three-dimensional space is proposed. For energy density corresponding to the Kretschmann scalar, u=cR^{ijkl} R_{ijkl}/2; for momentum density corresponding to a contracted skew symmetric tensor left(g^{jl}R^{kiki} R_{kikl}-g^{il}R^{kjkj} R_{kjkl}right)/2, similar to electromagnetic momentum density varepsilon_0Etimes B. Moreover, the magnetic field divergence equation nablabullet B=0 should be the result of differential geometry identity. Positive and negative energy being expressed as the compactness and expansion properties of metric space respectively, vacuum polarization can be described as symmetry breaking of flat space into a contracted and an expanded metric space. The equivalence of the torsion of affine connection space with the angular momentum of matter is discussed. The quantized spin angular momentum eigenstate in quantum mechanics is related to a connected torsional manifold. In the case of hbar/2 spin, it is corresponding to a Möbius circle. It is remarkable that the two classified elementary particles, bosons and fermions, correspond to the two types of topological manifolds, orientable and non-orientable manifolds. The reinterpreted concept of matter, curved space, gives rise to the concept of absolute space. The relativistic effects, time dilation, Lorentz contraction, and mass increase should be considered the changes of the intrinsic curvature property of space. The principle of relativity must be abandoned; the time dilation in the special relativity in the Global Positioning System depending on the velocity in relation to the “universal frame” provides evidence of absolute space." @default.
