The chapter also articulates how the use of Lean Development can enable part-time work and going home on time. When leadership focuses on the four areas of shifting the organization to the use of A3s, creating a knowledge repository, increasing the technical depth of managers, and developing system thinking, they are creating structural as well as social change within the development process.
