- W4297955021 abstract "Shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves (SH-SAW) can be obtained by a piezoelectric material such as 36XY-LiTaO3 after feeding an electric signal through an interdigital transducer (IDTs). SH-SAW has been used in various applications, including biosensors, physical sensors, and chemical sensors. Moreover, localized surface plasmon resonance is another interesting phenomenon (LSPR). The LSPR effect refers to the collective oscillation of the conduction electrons band at the metallic nanoparticle structure in response to an incoming light wavelength. However, the interplay of SH-SAW vibration with LSPR has received a small attention. By developing an array gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) in the middle of the SH-SAW device, we propose investigating the interaction between SH-SAW and LSPR. The SH-SAW vibration guided array AuNPs and it is resulting in a blue-shift effect with a high potential for tuning the LSPR spectrum. Finally, this study establishes a link between SH-SAW and LSPR technologies, enabling the development of an adjustable LSPR spectrum and multifunctional sensors." @default.
