Information and communication technology (ICT) plays a key part in managing natural disasters. An example of seismic risk preparedness for the case of preparatory schools in Mexico City has been used to illustrate this feature of the model. Some conclusions are (1) the model has shown the potentiality to the understanding of the flow of information amongst they key subsystems of the model.
