- W4302009265 abstract "Sodium-ion batteries (SIBs) are ideal technologies for large-scale energy storage systems because of their abundant resources and low cost. However, Al foil, the current collector of sodium-ion battery, has a great influence on the performance of the battery, but it has rarely been studied. In this paper, we prove that the Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene current collector can make a stronger connection with the electrode, lowering the electrode-collector interface resistance considerably. When compared to Al current collectors in SIBs, the Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene current collector reduces polarization and enhances performance. the sodium vanadium phosphate(NVP) electrode with Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene current collector exhibits significantly enhanced rate capability (81.9 mAh g −1 at 500 mA g −1 ) and cycling performance (81.5% over 200 cycles at 1C) than Al foil. The results show that Ti 3 C 2 T x MXene current collector has a broad prospect in the application of high power SIB battery. • Ti 3 C 2 T x film can be used as a current collector of sodium-ion battery. • There is better contact between Ti 3 C 2 T x film and the active layer. • Electrochemical performance and energy density of SIB is improved by using of Ti 3 C 2 T x film." @default.
