- W4302028032 abstract "In the presented work, a performance evaluation of the available Mg-Al-Zn alloys as anodic material for metal-air batteries has been carried out. The performance evaluation entails appraising the performance of feasible alternatives under conflicting performance measures. Twelve feasible alloys have been appraised under the following performance measures: current density, average voltage, anodic efficiency, and discharge capacity. TOmada de Decisao Interativa Multicriterio (TODIM) method has been employed to carry out the performance analysis because of its potential ability to consider the risk-averse psychological characteristics of the experts involved in the appraisal process. It has been revealed that Alloy8, i.e., AZ61-0.5Ce (O), has the highest overall dominance value of 1 and is, therefore, the best of all the considered alloy systems. On the other hand, Alloy4, i.e., AZ91-0.55 m (O), has the lowest dominance value of 0 and is the inferior of all the considered alloy systems. Average voltage has been attached to the highest importance while arriving at the appraisal results. The sensitivity analysis results with regard to the risk appetite reveal the robustness of the obtained appraisal results and the significance of the risk appetite of the experts." @default.
