- W4304080775 abstract "The pyrolyzed calcium oxide (CaO)-containing carbon pellets (CCCPs) can be used as an alternative raw material for the calcium carbide (CaC2) production. In order to prepare highly reactive pyrolyzed CCCP, it is necessary to study the effect of pyrolysis temperature on pyrolysis behavior and structural evolution of pyrolyzed CCCPs. The reactivity of pyrolyzed CCCPs was evaluated from three aspects. The TG results showed that the pyrolysis of CCCPs included two main stages. CaO could promote the cracking of tar and increase the gas yield of CCCPs. Over 873 K, the proportion of pores over 10 µm in CCCP increased significantly. Over 673 K, the disorder degree of carbon (AD1/AG) in CCCPs gradually increased with temperature increasing. CaO would inhibit char graphitization in CCCP pyrolyzed over 973 K. A mechanism for the phase evolution of CaO during the pyrolysis of CCCPs was elucidated. The CCCP pyrolyzed at 1073 K was evaluated to have the best reactivity." @default.
