This paper focuses on the modified influence of the slaked lime on the water stability of porous asphalt mixture. Two modified materials quick lime and cement are used as the reference comparison scheme to carry out Marshall and immersion Marshall test, standard flying dispersion test, and immersion flying dispersion test, standard splitting test, freeze-thaw splitting test, and immersion rutting test. The results show that the improvement effect of 2% slaked lime on the immersion residual stability of porous asphalt mixture is better than that of 2% quick lime. For the porous asphalt mixture mixed with 2% slaked lime, the standard fly loss is 6.9% and that of immersion fly loss is 7.0%, which indicates that slaked lime can greatly improve the anti-spalling performances of porous asphalt mixture. The standard splitting strength and freezing-thawing splitting strength of the scheme of adding slaked lime and quick lime are much higher than that of adding cement and mineral powder, which indicates that slaked lime and quick lime can improve the water stability of porous asphalt mixture, and the water stability of the scheme of adding quick lime in the same proportion is slightly better than that of slaked lime. The long-term aging property of slaked lime is better, and the effect of 3% dosage is best. Quick lime has good short-term water stability, but its water damage resistance decreases after long-term aging. Thus, the porous asphalt mixture mixed with slaked lime has good water stability and long-term aging performance, which is suitable for application in engineering." @default.
