- W4304189969 abstract "The present investigation reports the water-based CuO, GO mono and CuO-GO binary nanofluid. The used materials i.e., CuO nanoparticles and GO were characterised by X-ray diffraction, ultra-violet visible spectroscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy. The experimental results observed that thermal conductivity in CuO nanofluid enhanced for volume fraction 0.1–0.5 wt% from 1.47 to 6.98% at temperature 30OC and from 5.53 to 18.39% at highest temperature 70OC as compared to base fluid DDW. In GO nanofluid, it is enhanced from 5.43 to 27.13% at 30OC and 15.52 to 61.45% at 70 OC for 0.1–05 wt%. In binary CuO-GO nanofluids thermal conductivity enhanced 3.62–17.51% at 30OC and 15.18–40.31% at 70OC. In this study, the viscosity of mono and binary nanofluid shows that increasing temperature decreases the viscosity whereas increases the viscosity with increased volume concentration in base fluid." @default.
