Various metal nanoparticles were reported recently showing antifungal activity against pathogenic fungi like Phoma glomerata, Phoma herbarium, Fusarium semitectum, Trichoderma and Candida albicans. Insecticidal applications were also reported for the biosynthesized copper nanoparticles.
