- W4307445167 abstract "The Clonal Selection Algorithm (CSA) from the Artificial Immune System (AIS) is used to solve the Job-Shop Scheduling Problem (JSSP) in a changing and continuous production environment. With the initialisation strategy, a Modified Clonal Selection Algorithm is proposed. There are two stages to the suggested scheduling mechanism. The first stage uses a T-cell-based Positive Selection Algorithm to populate the CSA’s first-generation population. In general, a random population or chaotic operation is used to initialise the system. The Modified Clonal Selection process constructs the next stage of the algorithm, which generates the final solution library for the given problem. Positive Selection-Based Modified Clonal Selection Algorithm (PSMCSA) is the name given to the generated algorithm after these changes. The proposed algorithm’s performance is compared to that of the existing CSA. The findings clearly show that the suggested method surpasses the CSA in terms of speed when generating optimal outcomes on par with its counterpart. The findings clearly demonstrated that the proposed method is one of the better alternatives for solving the real-world JSSP in order to increase performance." @default.
