- W4308072145 abstract "Fe-Mo-O doping g-C 3 N 4 -exfoliated composite demonstrated high efficiency for removal of rhodamine B by advanced oxidation with 99% degradation rate within 15 min due to its Fe/Mo dual ion synergy system; moreover, it possessed high activity for photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B under visible light, achieving > 99% degradation rate due to the heterojunctions on exfoliated g-C 3 N 4 . • >Fe-Mo-O/exfoliated g-C 3 N 4 > FeMo y O x /g-C 3 N 4 composed of Mo 6+ , Fe 2+ and Fe 3+ oxides and g-C 3 N 4 > Fe 2+ formed by reduction of in situ produced NH 3 to Fe 3+ > highly efficient for advanced oxidation of RhB by Fe/Mo synergic ion system > high photodegradation rate under visible light > excellent recovery and reusability. Fe-Mo-O doping g-C 3 N 4 exfoliated composite was fabricated and characterized by XRD, FT-IR, UV-vis, SEM, TEM, XPS and N 2 adsorption-desorption techniques. The as-prepared composite was composed of MoO 3 , FeMo y O x and exfoliated g-C 3 N 4 crystals, and thus demonstrated high efficiency for degradation of Rhodamine B by advanced oxidation due to the rapid decomposition of H 2 O 2 over the composite catalyst, giving 99% degradation rate within oxidation time of 15 min. Also, it demonstrated high activity for photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B under visible light, achieving > 99% degradation rate. The high catalytic activity for advanced oxidation and photocatalysis was mainly ascribed to the Fe/Mo dual ion synergy system that could effectively protect Fe (II), or heterojunctions on exfoliated g-C 3 N 4 that could inhibit the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes. Moreover, the composite catalyst presented an excellent recovery and reusability for advanced oxidation and photocatalytic degradation." @default.
