- W4308089883 abstract "Clinical and experimental studies of the heart pumping function, as a rule, do not take into account the mutual mechanical influence of the functioning of the atrium and ventricle on each other during the cardiac cycle. The physiological mechanism of this contractility regulation contour is still unknown, although it was discovered in the last century and repeatedly confirmed in 3D ultrasound and magnetic resonance studies. Based on the results of these studies, we proposed an algorithm and tested a model of mechanical interaction through a change in the lengths of isolated preparations of atrial and ventricular myocardium in a physiological experiment. The algorithm of interaction between the atrium and the ventricle is based on the physiological mode of contraction of myocardial preparations, which imitates the sequence of phases of contraction of segments of the ventricular wall during the systole/diastole cycle. The main phases of right atrial contraction (reservoir, conduit and booster) are taken into account during interaction. Preliminary experiments showed a significant modulation of the contractile response of right atrial and ventricular myocardial preparations during their interaction. With a delay in the onset of ventricular contraction relative to the onset of the atrium by 30 ms, the increase in the amount of work performed by the ventricle during a single cardiac cycle in the process of interaction with the atrium was 35.5% relative to the amount of work obtained in isolation." @default.
