- W4308461507 abstract "In this paper, the prescribed-time synchronization (PTs) issue in networks of nonlinear piecewise-smooth (PWS) systems with impulse effects is discussed. Firstly, a time-varying piecewise function is constructed to develop a novel theorem with respect to the prescribed-time stability for nonlinear impulsive PWS systems, in which the convergence time is pre-set by users. Secondly, under the designed feedback controller with the discontinuous factor, by utilizing generalized Lyapunov functional method, non-smooth analysis theory, and inequality analysis technique, the global prescribed-time stability of synchronization error system is proved analytically. Meanwhile, the PTs conditions are addressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, an application to Chua’s chaotic circuit system is given to verify the correctness of theoretical results and the feasibility of the designed control strategy." @default.
