In Figure 3, the at-risk tables were inaccurate. Patients who were lost to follow-up or were still alive without distant metastasis or locoregional recurrence at the end of the trial should have their data censored at the date of last follow-up. Follow-up time in our study was measured from the date of randomization to the last date of follow-up or until death. The date of last follow-up was October 30, 2020. All surviving patients received imaging evaluation within three months and we conducted telephone follow-up for all surviving patients from October 23, 2020 to October 30, 2020. More than 1,000 nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients were admitted in Hunan Cancer Hospital every year, and nearly 60% of them were locoregionally advanced disease. Our study recruited 136 patients in the first 6 months, 132 of whom were still alive at the date of last follow-up. Subsequent enrollment of patients in this trial was relatively slow because other new clinical trials with similar inclusion criteria were launched in our institution.
