- W4309195585 abstract "Intermediate rail fastener is an integral element of the track superstructure, providing the necessary geometric parameters of the rail track and, therefore, its necessary operational reliability. Activities connected with adjustment of rail track geometry in plan and profile, replacement of defective elements of track structure and planned ensuring of rail track pressing to supports under rail are invariably connected with intermediate rail fastenings, and, to a greater extent, with elastic clamp. Optimization of the shape and geometrical dimensions of the terminal will allow ensuring effective maintenance of the railroad track during the whole service life. The article considers the study of a promising form of terminals for intermediate rail fastenings - turn terminals or terminals in the form of torsion spring. The stress–strain state of torsion spring terminals offered as an alternative to B-shaped bar terminals of the existing intermediate rail fastenings such as ZBR-65 and ARS-4 is investigated by means of SolidWorks software and its add-on SolidWorks Simulation. Multivariant computer modeling of three proposed forms of turn clamp with changed geometrical parameters was performed to determine their most optimal values. Based on the obtained data, the influence of changes in geometric dimensions on the stress–strain state of the terminals has been determined." @default.
