- W4309380929 abstract "Protection of living cells is crucial in drug delivery carrier processes. However, providing less harmful methods for the introduction of drugs is still a challenge in physicochemical and pharmaceutical studies. In this chapter, we summarize the toxicity measurement method and development in drug delivery systems in living organisms. The in vivo and in vitro toxicity assessment methods in different types of living cells are mainly examined. We briefly describe the various toxicities and the adverse effects of drug delivery carriers such as nanoparticles, lysosomes, etc., and categorize damage caused by nanoparticles in different body organs. Furthermore, we discuss the toxicity of nanoparticles in the application of their use as therapeutics agents. On the basis of recent developments in this field, we visualize that by using specified testing techniques, most of the aspects of nanoparticle toxicology can be detected precisely; however, the biocompatible drug delivery methods can be further improved." @default.
