- W4310059560 abstract "In this paper, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was employed to study the kinetic of isothermal torrefaction. The real components of corn stalk were torrefied with simulated flue gas at 230, 260 and 290 °C. The results of single-component kinetic analysis indicated that the approximate equilibrium transformation period of hemicellulose and lignin was shorter than that of cellulose. The quantitative analysis results of weight loss degree index (WLDI) and element removal index (ERI) demonstrated that flue gas torrefaction of biomass should be operated at moderate temperature (250-275 °C) and time (30min). The superposition model based on the single-component kinetic equation had poor accuracy in predicting the co-torrefaction process. The correction factor method could improve the predictive ability of the basic model, indicating that the interaction would affect the torrefaction process when the real components were connected to each other by chemical linkages." @default.
