- W4310267013 abstract "The article aims to present and verify the effectiveness of a quick (modified) approach to measuring vertical displacements and then to measure with this method and calculate the values of vertical displacements assumed on real objects of the controlled points network. As an example of the possibility of using the proposed method, data obtained from the geodetic monitoring of the control and measurement networks established on the ground structural elements of the Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology were used. The presented approach eliminates the influence of the error in the position of the sight line of the device, reduces the number of measuring stations, and gives the possibility of a more favorable selection of measuring stations. The verified approach significantly shortens the time of measurements (by about 37%) and reduces the work-made cost. Furthermore, the numerical analysis showed the proposed solution's effectiveness without reducing the accuracy of obtained results." @default.
