The study identified new structural changes in global foreign direct investment and economic growth in the context of current crisis. Today, the global foreign direct investment system is undergoing with significant changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic and situation in Ukraine. It is reflected in the risks of sustainable development in the formation of the global value chain, the complexity of economic relations between countries and protectionism in trade. The purpose of the study is to identify new structural changes in global foreign direct investment and economic growth during the current crisis. The study is a descriptive assessment and structural analysis of foreign direct investment and economic growth in the development of the global economy. The article was carried out within the framework of the available information of international and public organizations, as well as on the basis of scientific research. The study looks at the negative effects of the current crisis and corruption on foreign direct investment and economic growth. In results in near future, multinational corporations will diversify their investments, taking into account local risks. Due to the pandemic, inflow of foreign direct investment and economic growth slowed down, in many areas there is a lack of reinvestment of income. In addition, we believe that in the context of the current crisis, governments need to renew their approaches not only in attracting new foreign direct investment, but also ways to retain them." @default.
