The article systematizes the issues related to the evaluation of the effectiveness and efficiency of the social policy of the state. Several opinions of scientists considered, which have next highlights that the implementation of social policy is related to social protection and support of the population, providing people with permanent jobs, establishing a normal standard of living for the population, providing social services aimed at supporting citizens, conducting effective targeted assistance to those in need. As a result of the analysis of the current state of social policy in Kazakhstan, the main problems of the social sphere are identified: the underdevelopment of social infrastructure; the presence of a stable unemployment rate; the annual decrease in the labor force; the use of traditional methods of financing social protection of the population; untimely management decisions on the implementation of social policy. The authors of the article recommended a list of measures for effective social policy of the state: to apply methods of social partnership to resolve social disagreements and conflicts in employment; to adapt mechanisms for financing state social expenditures taking into account inflation and the state of the labor market; to make a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of budget expenditures on social policy; to apply innovative tools for effective management of social policy; to improve information a base for targeted support and social protection of the population." @default.
