Был проанализирован уровень развития научного сектора в Казахстане с анализом статистических данных и результатами интервью экспертов. Был рассмотрен и определен уровень затрат на НИОКР по источникам финансирования, уровень инноваций в субъектах экономической деятельности. Также, было проведено экспертное интервью с представителями научного сектора, которое выявило текущее положение, существующие проблемы и возможности развития научного сектора страны. Результаты интервью выявили общие тренды развития научно-исследовательской деятельности в Казахстане, уровень развития в сравнении с другими странами и их затратами на научно-исследовательскую деятельность. Авторами исследования было выявлено, что в настоящее время наблюдается позитивный тренд увеличения публикационной активности ученых, однако, по сей день существуют вопросы касательно финансирования науки и ее дальнейшей коммерциализации. В результате анализа, был выявлен разрыв между частным сектороми его заинтересованностью в коммерциализации научных проектов. В статье отмечены факторы, такие как качество публикационной деятельности, кооперация отечественных исследователей с зарубежными институтами, требования новой программы докторантуры, которые по мнению экпертов напрямую связаны с текущей обстановкой научного сектора страны. Данное исследование определило основные тренды развития научно-исследовательской Казахстана, с учетом изменений последних лет. This study assesses the development of research activities in Kazakhstan. The level of development of the scientific sector in Kazakhstan was analyzed with the analysis of statistical data and the results of interviews with experts. The level of expenditures on R&D by sources of financing, the level of innovation in the subjects of economic activity was considered and determined. Also, an expert interview was conducted with representatives of the scientific sector, which revealed the current situation, existing problems and opportunities for the development of the country's scientific sector. The results of the interview revealed general trends in the development of research activities in Kazakhstan, the level of development in comparison with other countries and their spending on research activities. The authors of the study found that currently there is a positive trend in the increase in the publication activity of scientists, however, to this day there are questions regarding the financing of science and its further commercialization. As a result of the analysis, a gap was revealed between the private sector and its interest in the commercialization of scientific projects. The article highlights factors such as the quality of publishing activities, cooperation between domestic researchers and foreign institutions, the requirements of the new doctoral program, which, according to experts, are directly related to the current situation in the country's scientific sector. This study identified the main trends in the development of research in Kazakhstan, taking into account the changes in recent years." @default.
