Zunächst wird in dem Beitrag der Begriff der Sozialisation bestimmt und ein Einblick in zentrale Sozialisationstheorien gegeben. Indem sich Sozialisation als Wechselbeziehung zwischen Persönlichkeit bzw. Identität und gesellschaftlichen Strukturen konzipieren lässt, werden im Weiteren die spezifischen Sozialisationskontexte in den Gesundheitsfachberufen gekennzeichnet. Im Anschluss wird der Forschungsstand zur beruflichen Sozialisation in den Gesundheitsfachberufen anhand von ausgewählten empirischen Befunden zu den Berufen Pflege, Hebamme, Ergo- und Physiotherapie vorgestellt und mittels einer Studie zu Entwicklungsaufgaben in der Pflegeausbildung exemplarisch vertieft. Dabei geben die referierten Studien deutliche Hinweise auf die Wirkmächtigkeit beruflicher Sozialisationskontexte wie auch früherer Sozialisationserfahrungen, weshalb anzunehmen ist, dass die Angebote formeller Bildung allein keinen substanziellen Wandel von beruflichen Sozialisationsprozessen herbeiführen werden." @default.
