- W4311808783 abstract "One of the significant sources of organic materials is livestock manure wastewater. In this study, the current density from livestock wastewater (sheep manure) was examined in a microbial fuel cell. Dry manure samples were added to clean water to form wastewater of manure liquid ratio. Four ratios of solid to liquid were used: 25, 50, 75 and 100 g/l. Per findings COD reduction efficiencies were up to 95%, 91%, 89% and 86% for MFC loaded with 25, 50, 75 and 100 g/L sheep manure wastewater and for a hydraulic retention time of 15 h. Per findings sheep manure can be a reusable feedstock for electricity production as the current density at the rate of 1608, 1166, 875 and 700 mA/m2 for an MFC loaded with 100, 75, 50 and 25 g/L sheep manure wastewater for the same hydraulic retention time." @default.
