- W4312277054 abstract "The concept of English bilingualismEnglish Bilingualism needs a suitable theoretical framework for it to be implemented properly. Though we have been arguing on various related aspects connected with this issue, we should further investigate, those persuasive classical and modern studies, in context of finding a viable theory for English bilingualism. So that we can discern a very easily applicable teaching method suitable for almost all nonnative English learnersNonnative English learner. It is not a foreign language or just another second language, but it is the global lingua franca, where the learner should ensure getting proficiency and fluency in English equal to that of the one’s own mother tongue. We here try to create a new narrative based on the concept of English bilingualismEnglish Bilingualism. Otherwise, we ought to deal with unhelpful narratives based on naïve scientific assumptions. In such cases the widespread presumption is that every knowledge available to humanity, needs to be explicated through scientific theorems. Unfortunately, the language abilityLanguage ability is not vulnerable to the limits of such scientific theories following Galileo’s mechanical modelGalileo’s mechanical model. However, the language faculty would function with its own vitalities. If no language is provided with, then what will happen to this innate ability latent in a human person. We may use the example of Tarzan, who had to be raised by the Apes, having no access to any human natural languages, he created a communication regime to communicate with the adopted Ape family. Using the latent vitality of the mentalese in the language faculty, he could communicate with the Ape family in his living environment. But again, when he met his girlfriend Jane, he learned English through communication. This happened only because, he could evoke the dormant vitality of the mentalese to imbibe the particular grammatical structure of English. Both, the communication with the Ape-family and with Jane, Tarzan essentially used the language of thought—mentalese in the language faculty. Arguably Tarzan was a bilingual." @default.
