- W4312329633 abstract "This study was designed to identify the effects of Lycium Barbarum Extract and Chitosan nanoparticles (ChNPs), Titanium dioxide (TiO2NPs) on rat weights rates and lipid profiles including total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoproteins (LDL-C), and liver enzymes such as Aspartate amino transferase (AST), Alanine amino transferase (ALT), Alkaline Phosphatas (ALP) in adult male rats (Rattus norvegicus) from the Sprague-Dawley strain. The rats were separated into six groups, each group containing six rats. Both the (T1) control groups and the five other groups were fed with a Balanced diet. After the end of the feeding period, over 21 days the rats were treated with Lycium Barbarum Extract (2g/kg b.w) (T2), ChNPs (500 mg/kg) (T3), TiO2NPs (500 mg/kg) (T4), Lycium Barbarum Extract with ChNPs (T5) and Lycium Barbarum Extract with TiO2NPs (T6). it became clear from the results that the daily weight gain of the members of the group of rats fed on T1 and the final weight gain was. but treatments T2, T3, T4, T5, and T6, the final weight loss compared with T1.The results showed significantly decrease (p≤0.05) in TC, TG, LDL, VLDL Levels, in groups T2, T3, T5 compared with group T1. Transactions with T4, T6 rats led to a significant increase in lipid profile. Also, a significant decrease in the level of liver enzymes (AST, ALT, ALP) was observed for animals treated with T2, T3, and T5 compared with T1, while treatment with T4 and T6 led to an increase in the concentration of liver enzymes." @default.
