• W4312533156 abstract "The article discusses the working algorithm of an export trading platform for small and medium companies of the agro-industrial complex. Its distinguishing feature is the ability to combine homogeneous produce of various agricultural suppliers in pools so that a large export consignment can be dispatched. The digital tools of the platform are an international contract, in particular ITC and ICC standard contracts including Incoterms; customs clearance that uses a single window system; delivery of agricultural produce by specially equipped transport with modern cargo identification and tracking options. The graphical research method has been used to determine that the share of SMEs in non-resource non-energy exports of Russia is 21%, with the growth of medium-sized companies being steady. Its structure has been analyzed through data summarizing and statistical grouping, as well as using series of dynamics and the method of absolute and relative values. Agro-industrial products account for more than 18%, which is comparable to mechanical engineering exports. Grain, oilseeds and related processed foods, as well as pork and poultry have been identified as key export items in terms of their quantities and growth potential. The method of averages and the monographic method, including the detailing and comparison of indicators, have been used to evaluate the financial efficiency indicators of small and medium-sized agro-industrial companies including 30% of a random sample of exporters from the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation. As a result, it has been revealed that agricultural producers, independently of whether they are highly efficient or do not make any profits at all, take part in export activities. Therefore, in order to confirm the Mark Melitz's hypothesis, the relation between the performance results of small agri-food companies and their entry into the international market has to be studied further." @default.
