- W4312577897 abstract "This paper is devoted to the problem of robust control law design taking into account constraints imposed on the performance of the closed-loop nominal system. The magnetic levitation system is chosen as the control object, since its mathematical model is not accurate due to significant difficulties in describing the magnetic field, especially near the surface of the magnet. The proposed approach to control design is aimed at providing the best robust properties of the closed-loop system while maintaining acceptable performance indices of the nominal model. This aim is achieved by solving the optimization problem of expanding the frequency boundaries of robust stability on the admissible set, including regulators that provide the eigenvalues of the closed-loop system for nominal model in the given region at left half-plane. The specific feature of the developed controller is its multi-purpose structure that allows to achieve desired system performance in different regimes. It is shown that the solution of the stated optimization problem is reduced to unconstrained nonlinear programming. The obtained results is compared with linear quadratic regulator. The simulation examples are presented in MATLAB/Simulink environment and discussed." @default.
