- W4312792006 abstract "Electric Vehicles (EVs) are gaining momentum due to several factors, including the price, climate, and environmental awareness. Vehicle Manufactures around the world are striving to develop robust EV and launch the products early to market. All the manufacturing setups should be able to work with robots readily with or without human intervention. Virtual visualization of collaborative manufacturing setups plays a Vital role in implementing Robots. Collaborative Robots (cobot), are intelligent robots intended to intermingle with workers in a shared space to work safely in proximity. This paper proposes how these intelligent robots can be visualized in Virtual Environment which are used in the manufacturing plant to solve actual plant problems encountered w.r.t the human efforts while assembling the front and the rear windshields. In this paper we see, building the CAD layout using Tecnomatix Process Simulate, for integrating the models in Virtual Manufacturing Systems (VMS), Material Handling etc. in a collaborative environment are discussed in detail. This paper also aims at providing a review on virtual manufacturing its definition, benefits, applications, challenges & identifying the compatibility of cobot in other areas of EV manufacturing." @default.
