- W4312830677 abstract "The development of antennas for mobile phones to be a difficult task and creating antennas to support the new 5G frequency bands will set the bar much higher. The dimensions of the MIMO antenna layout is 2×5 elements of ten identical monopole antennas. Geometry of the individual element for low frequency is larger and it is complex to interface in the smart phones. In the proposed geometry the metamaterial structure is incorporated to optimize the surface current and improve the antenna gain. The proposed unit cell is placed over the patch of each antenna to improve the gain. There are ten identical 5G antenna which covers dual resonant modes are integrated such as 3500MHz and 5500MHz. The proposed 4G antenna covers the band of LTE2500. The metamaterial structure consists of 4-unit cell for single 5G antenna structure and totally 20-unit cells are included. A multiband antenna array operating at both 5G and 4G frequency bands are most applicable for smart phone applications." @default.
